Tower Stack
Tap anywhere on the canvas, or press Space, to drop the moving block.
Tower Stack is a one-button game with a very sharp difficulty curve: a block slides back and forth, you tap to drop it, and whatever overhangs the block below is sliced off. Land it dead centre and you keep the full width. Every drop makes the next one faster, so a tall tower is a story about not getting greedy.
How to play Tower Stack
- A coloured block slides left and right above the tower.
- Tap anywhere (or press Space) to drop it.
- Overhang is cut away — the block you keep gets narrower unless you drop it perfectly.
- Miss the tower completely and the round ends. Perfect drops start a combo bonus.
Strategy tips
Ignore the score and watch the edges, not the centre. The gap between your block's edge and the tower's edge is what decides the cut, and human eyes judge an edge alignment far more accurately than a centre. If your tower is getting thin, slow down mentally rather than tapping faster — the block speed is set by the game, not by your rhythm.
Why play it here
Loads in under a second, uses one thumb, and every round is short enough to fit in a queue. Blocks are rendered on canvas at device pixel ratio, so the edges stay crisp on retina-class phone screens.

Questions
How do you get a perfect drop?
Release the block within a few pixels of the block below. A perfect drop keeps the full width and adds a combo bonus, which is the only way to reach a very high tower.
Does the game get faster?
Yes. Block speed increases slightly with every drop, so the same timing that worked at the start will fail around twenty blocks up.
Can I play with one hand?
That is the design. Tapping anywhere on the board counts, so you do not need to aim at a button.
Is the height or the score the real measure?
The score. Perfect drops add combo bonuses that a tall-but-sloppy tower cannot match.
